Juliet Coursey - Artistic Director
"Miss Julie" has been dancing since the age of 4 and is currently in her seventeenth year of teaching. She is a certified member of Dance Educators of America, USA Gymnastics and the Florida Dance Association. In high school, Julie was a member of the dance team. She has performed at various half time shows as well as the Annual Macy's Day Parade in New York City. She was a student teacher at The Delray Dance Conservatory where she headed Hip Hop and Acrobatic classes. Miss Julie continued her studies at Southern Dance Theatre in Boynton Beach before going on to teach for studios and public schools throughout Palm Beach County. She has won numerous awards at both Regional and National competitions, some of which were awards for Choreography. Many of her students, past and present, have auditioned and been accepted to the Bak Middle School of the Arts and the Alexander W. Dreyfoos Jr. High School of the Arts in Palm Beach County. Her Jewels Dance Company has been highly successful in several Regional and National competitions as well as earning titles in over-all age categories. Miss Julie has designed her studio to have a friendly, family atmosphere where children are encouraged to learn and have fun. With her love of dance, Julie sets the professional tone of pure dance with a true sense of dedication, imagination, and understanding. She finds sharing her love of dance with her students a most rewarding and satisfying career
Jesse Coursey - Owner/Instructor
"Mr. Jesse" began taking Gymnastics at age five and continued through age 18, competing levels 5 through 8. He is currently in his fourth year teaching with Jewels Dance. He teaches Gymnastics, Hip-Hop and Breakdancing in numerous schools throughout Palm Beach County as an approved school board vendor. He is a certified member of USA Gymnastics as well as being Safety Certified through USA Gymnastics. Hip- Hop has always been Jesse's favorite way to test a dancer’s abilities, stamina, and creativity. His classes are an experience, conducted like no other. F-U-N is definitely a factor existing in his high-energy classes. With his smooth outgoing style, teaching his students SELF-DISCIPLINE while instilling proper deportment for every day life is just part of the job!
Rita Criscione
Mrs. Rita Criscione has studied classical ballet both privately and at the Broadway Dance Center for over twenty years. She is in her third year as a member of the faculty at Jewels Dance. She has studied with many esteemed teachers including Joan Adams, Don Farnworth, Finis Jhung and Kat Wildfish. She is a founding member of the 1010 Ballet Dancers and a former assistant for the Magic of David Copperfield Show. Rita has been teaching ballet with great passion to students of all ages and levels for the past seven years and is in her third year as a member of the Jewels Dance faculty. She is a high-quality dance instructor whose emphasis is on correct technique. Rita is a certified ballet teacher with Dance Masters of America, New York City Chapter 26, a member of the American for the Arts Action Fund and the Florida Dance Association. |

Diana Eisele
Diana Eisele was born and raised in South Florida. She is in her third year as a member of the Jewels Dance faculty. During her school years she was involved in Cheerleading, Volleyball, Dance and Drama along with many other exciting activities. While pursuing her degree in Liberal Arts, she taught at a local dance studio where she developed their first competing dance company. Since 1987, from Florida to the Bahamas, Diana has garnered several performance credits, including TV pilots, the 1989 Super Bowl Half-time Show, the 1995 Florida Panthers opening game, and performing aboard Discovery Cruise Lines. Diana went on to create her own professional dance company- A Step Ahead Productions. She also had the opportunity to work for Coca Cola, American Express, The Lipton, and the Magic 102.7 National Sing-A-Long Wrong Campaign. In 1996, along with her sister Mary, Diana became co-owner of the Dance Academy of Deerfield Beach. Her students have won numerous high score awards, including title holding positions and judges specialty awards. Most recently, Diana choreographed for the play Grease and flew to California to perform for our troops at the Bob Hope Theater. She looks forward to the upcoming years so that she may continue doing what she loves most, generating the talents of her students. |

Tierney Archer
"Miss Tierney" began studying dance at the Delray Dance Conservatory at the age of 6 with her sister "Miss Julie". She is currently in her fourth year of teaching with Jewels Dance. Since her days at the Dance Conservatory, she has competed and performed throughout South Florida and has won several awards, including First Place Overall in Showstoppers competition. Miss Tierney is currently training for her Dance Educators of America certification. She hopes to share her love of dance with all her students.

Alyssa Thompson
"Miss Alyssa" was born in Georgia and has been dancing since the age of three and is in her third year of teaching at Jewels. She is trained in tap, jazz and ballet and is passionate about all aspects of dance. Miss Alyssa believes that dancing and creative movement is very important in learning motor skills, especially in early child development. The opportunity to teach these important skills to our children is very exciting to her. Miss Alyssa has won many first place awards and overall high scores in competitions throughout South Florida. Under her gentle and caring instruction, her students learn an everlasting appreciation for dance. |

Cortney Davidovitch
"Miss Cortney" began dancing at the age of four. Shortly thereafter, she and her family moved to Boca Raton. She is very excited to work with everyone in the Jewels Dance family and is now in her second year as an instructor. She discovered her love for hip-hop dance and passion for helping others at a very young age. In middle school, she became captain of the cheerleading team 2 years in a row and also captain of the dance team for 2 years. She was recognized as a major part of the team and always pushed the other team members to achieve the highest level possible. She received many awards from her coach and teammates highlighting her passion and love for dance. She looks forward to bringing something new to the floor and is excited with the beginning of each new season of dance! Favorite quote: “I am not afraid, I was born for this!” |

Tammy Farris
Tammy Farris, has been teaching and choreographing for the past 27 years. Tammy has taught and choreographed throughout Florida and even taught a master class to the "Summer Disney Kids". Her award winning choreography has been seen on television shows such as William Scott's "Amateur Hour" in Orlando, and Sabado Gigante in Miami as well as, in the following productions, "One Voice" a dramatic musical, The American Dream Festival in Nassau, Bahamas and Frank Hatchett's "Broadway Dance Center Showcase" in New York City.
Tammy has won choreography awards in all aspects of dance along with her students winning numerous high score awards, scholarships from around the country and national titles. Some of her students have gone on to obtain scholarships for college and pursue professional careers. Her former students, Jessica Fernandez, appeared as a finalist and toured with "So You Think You Can Dance" Season 2 and Kameron Bink appeared in the top 10 as a finalist and toured with "So You Think You Can Dance" Season 3. Her students have also toured with Jennifer Lopez and Brittany Spears, have appeared in music video's with Jennifer Lopez and No Doubt, performed at The Academy Awards, MTV Music Video Awards, VH1 Video Awards, and danced with the Miami Dolphins, Miami Heat, and various college teams. |

Larry Albright
Larry has been teaching and performing his style of Hip Hop for 10 years now, in shows and other venues throughout the U.S. He has performed in many venues opening for such artists as PitBull, Nelly, Ricky Martin, Common, Lil Mo and Fabolous. He has choreographed for many companies from the elementary to collegiate and professional levels. He has performed with and choreographed for such companies as RPM (featured on My Super Sweet 16), Infinite DS (NY), Like Clockwork (featured on the Queen Latifah Show), PFUNK dance company(NY),Sean’s Dance Factory (FL). He has also worked with many collegiate dance teams and programs including Rutgers University, Florida International University, Florida School of the Arts, and Northwood University. His teaching experience is extensive having taught many workshops and master classes nationally and internationally. He has worked with many conventions such as the Underground Dance convention, Beasts from the Streets Dance convention, Dance Masters of America, Dance Educators of America, and Pick the stars international just to name a few. His current projects include traveling master classes and working with new artist J Randall as a choreographer and dancer. |

William "Billy" Bell
William “Billy” Bell was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Fl where he first started dance at the age of 12. He attends the Alexander W. Dreyfoos Jr. School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, Fl and plans to graduate in May 2008. There he has worked with many choreographers such as Jan Hanniford, Jeff Satinof, Amy Patton-Swan, Kathryn Posin, Chuck Davis, and Sean Green. Now, at the age 17, he has done more than kids his age: He has danced with Broadway’s most famed stars, Liza Minnelli, Joel Grey, Harolyn Blackwell, Johnny Rogers, and Brian Stokes Mitchell in “Back to Back to Broadway”; been hired by Broadway Arts Productions to tour with them in their production of “West Side Story”, in which he played “Baby John;” and has been in Ballet Florida’s production of “Marie Hale’s The Nutcracker” for two years.
Over the summer he attended the Alvin Ailey Summer Intensive Program in the Professional division and the first ever Joffrey Jazz and Contemporary Intensive. From that intensive he was accepted to be in the first ever Joffrey Jazz and Contemporary Company and is planned to premier in the summer of 2008. During that same summer, he assisted Billy Larson ,from Broadway Dance Center, during the summer as well. He has been offered contracts with Disneyland Tokyo and DDO Agencies in New York City. He also holds many titles at various dance competitions around the U.S.
Billy has also just started his own ensemble at Dreyfoos School of the Arts called the Dreyfoos Dance Ensemble, and was lucky enough to be selected to participate in NFAA Young ARTS week in which he received a silver award, $5,000 cash, and a nomination to be a Presidential Scholar.
After he graduates, Billy definitely wants to pursue an even bigger career in dance. As he also excels academically, he has been accepted into University of Central Florida, Florida State University, and the University of Florida all on full scholarships.
Most recently, he has been accepted to The Juilliard School, in New York City, for dance and is going to attend in the fall of 2008. |

Quentin Bolden
Quentin Bolden grew up on the east coast (Hilton Head SC) where he sang in his church choir and danced at an early age. Hip Hop came to him naturally, he was taught the styles of ballet, jazz, and modern by Ms. Linda Hurtado. During all of this he also found the time to become a well-rounded gymnast, learn techniques to strengthen his singing voice and pick up on the acting side of the theatrical and big/small screen arts.
Quentin got his first choreography opportunity at his high school. He was asked to do the finally number for a student choreography show that the art department was putting on. That summer he landed his first job at Universal Studios in the Beatle Juice show where he played Dracula. He got his first break with Hoctor Dance Caravan when he was 18. He got this by competing at a PDTA (Professional Dance Teachers Association) in Jekyll Island GA. After he competed he was asked to his first convention classes in Biloxi MS and from there that led to his first summer tour with Dance Caravan in the summer of 2001(and still currently tours every summer). With All his exposure to the spotlight he has created an ever populating following of friends as well as fans; As time went on he was blessed to have gotten that exposure from touring to get the opportunity to travel internationally to judges dance, perform and choreograph many numbers including numbers for NCSA (North Carolina School of the Art).
Some of his other credits and interests include gymnastics, modeling, singing as a lead/ lead soloist for many for many events, theatrical plays, big screen appearances and commercials including MTV and American Eagle (commercial) and Red Line (Movie Trailer). Quentin is quickly becoming one of the most sought out choreographers nationwide for his creativity in his choreography, motivating dancers to follows the dream, and push the fact the you have to do it for you, have fun, and always perform to the fullest and always do you!
