Open auditions for new members of the Jewels Dance Company are held annually in the month of August. Auditions are open to dancers ages 5 through 18. Company is offered for dancers who desire more opportunities to perform in addition to our annual recital. These dancers also participate in community events, workshops and competitions. Dancers accepted into Company, along with their parents, make a commitment to take the responsibilities of the group seriously. In return, the members gain valuable competitive and life experience, a strong sense of self-confidence, and valuable exposure as a dancer.
Solo, duet and trio opportunities are always available, but it is our production numbers that truly teach our company dancers the values of working together and learning to function as a team, bringing together our entire company, dancers at all levels, sharing the same stage.
